Equity & Diversity

Equity & Diversity

To ensure a fair and unbiased evaluation process, we welcome candidates to submit their CVs without including personal identifying information, such as name, gender, age, race, religion, or any other factors that may reveal their identity – known as blind recruitment. Through this process, our hiring team can evaluate applicants based on their skills and experience, instead of factors that could lead to biased decisions.

We recruit, employ, train, promote, and compensate individuals based on job-related qualifications and abilities. HF Holidays has a longstanding policy of providing a work environment that respects the dignity and worth of each individual and is free from all forms of discrimination. We are an equal opportunity employer and will not discriminate against candidates based on any of the protected characteristics set out under the Equalities Act 2010 or any other characteristic protected by law.

Supporting Disability

HF Holidays is a disability inclusive business and members of the Business Disability Forum. Around 2% of the working age population in the UK become disabled every year. That’s why we have policies in place to support current employees who become disabled whilst working for us. Our Line Managers notify our Central HR team, who engage with an employee to best understand their disability and what adjustments we can make to support them. Our readily available adjustments include having disabled blue badge car parking spaces, lifts within as many of our buildings as possible, ramps, accessible toilets, and/or a communication on allergies.

Equity & Diversity for our Customers

Although Equity, Diversity and operating a Disability Confident scheme is at the forefront of our commitments to our employees, it is also an ethos that spreads to our customers. In Spring 2024 we partnered with a unique tour operator, Traveleyes, to open up group holidays to blind and vision-impaired guests. We have also been proud to host various group holidays for socially disadvantaged individuals, and we are a sponsorship partner to Mind Over Mountains – an award- winning charity enabling people to restore and retain their mental health and wellbeing.
